" Where Hope Sings"

When you express to the world:

this is what I do, this is what I know,

this is what I'm here for, I'm available,

then you set up some dynamic. Things come.

Once upon a time, in a land faraway, a communicator was born. Her name is Cheryl Farrell. Her calling in life is to link advocacy, creativity, and enterprise in her endeavors. She uses songwriting, singing, and storytelling to answer that calling.

Cheryl attended major universities in Los Angeles, earning a bachelor's degree in Economics. Years later while working and raising two young children, she earned her Master's degree in communications. Her graduate work addressed the impact of communications on social issues.

Most of her career was in corporate banking positions, but she found balance with creative projects. She sang at weddings, wrote essays and supported various health and social causes.

To support her husband’s new job, she moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania in May 2000. She consulted the Internet for a "window" to Los Angeles. Her graduate school web site (USC Annenberg) posted an advertisement for an on-air television presenter with the award-winning quiz show Jeopardy! After auditions with 5,000 entrants, she was granted one of four positions on the Clue Crew. Her worldwide travels provided extraordinary experiences.

Within a few months of reporting to work in Los Angeles, the 9/11 tragedy struck while her family was still living in Pennsylvania. Four months later her son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Cheryl faced these unique challenges with the love and support of her family and friends, along with an irrepressible faith.
