However, she’s proud to share musical messages of hope for the important cause of diabetes research. She cherishes her musical "adventures" in her former role on the television quiz show, Jeopardy!     As an essayist, Cheryl has written about families facing the challenges of living with type 1 diabetes. As a speaker, she has appeared on news programs and met with audiences describing the constant work of managing blood sugar levels.
